Order History Import
Keep your order history useful when you move to Shopify.
Your previous platform may hold years of order history. Moving that information into Shopify requires more than copying rows: the import needs to handle duplicates and show which records need attention.
This tool imports historical orders from a CSV file as a background job. It tracks progress, prevents duplicate imports, and captures errors for individual rows.
The original build also includes a cleanup option for removing imported orders when a reset and rerun are needed.
The import could be adapted to your old platform’s export and the order fields you need to bring over, with a review process for incomplete or unusual records.
- Historical orders imported from a CSV
- Duplicate prevention during the import
- Progress tracking and errors recorded by row
- A cleanup option for resetting an import when needed
