Test Store Setup
Test changes in a store that reflects how your business is configured.
A nearly empty test store does not tell you much about how a change will behave in your operation. Rebuilding your configuration by hand takes time and is hard to keep consistent.
This tool copies selected production configuration into a sandbox store. The original build includes pages, menus, structured-data definitions, catalogs, price lists, inventory quantities, and shipping-service configuration. It excludes customers, companies, orders, and webhooks.
The production connection is used for reading, writes are checked against the intended sandbox, and a comparison file helps identify differences.
The copy process could be scoped around the features you need to test and the data appropriate for that environment. It copies a defined set of configuration rather than assuming every part of the live store should move.
- Selected live-store configuration copied into a test environment
- Customer and order records excluded from the original workflow
- Destination checks before sandbox writes
- A comparison file for reviewing differences
